Vlad III is summoned as the Lancer of Black, embodying the idealized version of himself as a just and noble ruler, fiercely loyal to his homeland. Unlike the historical Vlad, who was
reviled for his cruelty, Fate’s Vlad sees himself as a protector of Wallachia, detesting the legend of Dracula that distorts his legacy. However, his Legend of Dracula (Kazikli Bey) skill reflects how myths reshape reality, forcibly turning him into the vampire he despises if invoked. Despite his historical reputation for brutality, he is portrayed as a disciplined, honorable, and proud leader, deeply resentful of the vampiric image imposed upon him. This internal struggle makes Fate’s Vlad III a tragic figure fighting not only for his homeland but also against the monstrous legend that history has made of him.
